Pipavav 74,500 DWT Panamax Series — Sea Trials & Delivery
Fidere acted as Technical Auditors for Engine Room, Accommodation, and Deck Outfitting across 4 Panamax Bulk Carriers (Hull P003 delivered Nov 2011, P004 March 2012, P009 Jan 2013, P015 May 2013). Scope encompassed integrating gaps between design & production drawings, installing tank/auxiliary instrumentation, managing mooring safety from launching to delivery, executing Inclining Experiments, and deploying sea trial crews to DG Shipping / Class standards.
Shifting, Wet Towing & Alignment of Mega Blocks (P015 & P016)
Fidere carried out the complete engineering consultancy, shifting, wet towing operations, ballasting/deballasting draft control, and underwater alignment of two Mega Blocks (4,000 MT + 3,000 MT) for Panamax vessels P015 & P016 (GN & GY vessel halves) to a final tolerance accuracy of 20mm at Pipavav Shipyard — the very first project of its kind in India. Scope included diving team supervision, dry dock flooding control, and multi-vessel mooring management.
Waterjet IPVs — Main Propulsion Alignment & Installation
Main propulsion system laser alignment, shafting installation, and waterjet integration for 4 Inshore Patrol Vessels (IPVs) built at Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. (GRSE), Kolkata for the Indian Coast Guard. Successfully commissioned and delivered following high-speed sea trials.
ASW Corvettes — CO2 Firefighting Systems Commissioning
Installation, pressure testing, and final commissioning of high-pressure CO2 firefighting suppression systems on board Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Corvettes built at Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. on behalf of New Fire Engineers for the Indian Navy.
M.V. Roll Dock Sun — Multipurpose Ro-Ro / Lo-Lo Vessel
New-building supervision for commissioning, pre-commissioning checks, machinery modifications, and sea trials of all systems to the complete satisfaction of owners and Germanischer Lloyd (GL) Class on behalf of Larsen & Toubro.
Jack-Up Rig Transportation & Drydocking Operations
Safe transportation, risk assessment, operating procedures and channel transit of the Jack-up Rig Noble Kenneth Delaney from Fairway Buoy through GPPL/PDOC channels to Pipavav FOB, executing drydocking and refloating. Additionally carried out safe transit and mooring for Sagar Laxmi of ONGC, Mobile Offshore Production Unit (MOPU).
